Donna Good is an Eastern Shore of Maryland photographer who specializes in fine art photography using natural light to enhance your portrait.
I capture and create expressive portraits of babies, children, seniors, maternity, couples, and small family groups on location using natural light. I rarely use a flash and do not use a studio. I occasionally shoot small weddings....
My goal is to keep my sessions relaxed and fun! I want your experience to be enjoyable and you to feel special. Sessions are held in the late afternoon/early evening (depending on the season) and last about one hour or so...
The location of your session is very important and should be well thought out depending on the look and feel that you'd like your images to have. I have several location suggestions depending on your chosen theme. Everything from fields and woods, to rustic and urban. If you have a specific location in mind, or would like the session done in the comfort of your own home if there is enough light, please let me know. I try to stay in my local area.
If weather conditions are poor on the day of your session, such as rain or high winds, we will need to reschedule. I will work with you to quickly schedule another date if this occurs. The same applies if your child is sick on the day of your session.
What to Wear...
Good clothing choices are important and can make or break a photoshoot. Wardrobe, like location, should be well thought out as it strongly impacts the feel of your images. Classic, timeless clothing is always a good choice, while bright colors and layers are also fun. Whatever you think best reflects the personality of you and your family. Personal touches (e.g. fun hats and accessories, some favorite cowboy boots or a frilly tutu) are encouraged! Please feel free to bring an additional outfit change for more variety if you choose. Try to avoid cartoon characters or logos since they quickly date your session. Keep family member clothing in the same tonal range if possible.
Post Session...
It will take two weeks to prepare your images for your password protected online gallery. I will contact you as soon as your gallery is ready for viewing. Your online gallery will be up for 10 days, and after that if no purchase is made, all images will be taken down and will only be republished for a fee of $10.

$100 (up to 6 people)... photos sold a la carte
Add $10 to your session fee for each additional person...up to 8 people.
Beach Sessions Add $15.00
Disc of images 10-12 high resolution jpegs with print release 235.00 (session fee included)
Disc of images 15-20 high resolution jpegs with print release 355.00 (session fee included)
If you purchase a disc, be aware the copyright remains with A Life In Focus Photography and your purchased prints can not be used in contests, sold for profit or displayed as your own work.
I recommend Mpix.com for online printing

It does includes a pre-session consultation either by phone or email if you like, a 1-1.5 hour session at the location of your choice (I try to stay local), the post processing of your images in my digital darkroom, and 15-20 of your images posted in a secure online gallery for 10 days for viewing and purchasing. If no purchase is made within the 10 day period the gallery will be removed and will require a 10.00 fee to re post. Purchased photos will be archived for 6 months. There is a $85.00 minimum initial purchase necessary to check out and complete your order.(Does not apply to subsequent purchases).
